From 24 to 30 July, Terrazza Frau, a historic building in the heart of Spoleto, will host an exhibition of winning works awarded with the prestigious Modigliani Prize, a unique honor for one of the greatest Italian masters of the 20th century.

From July 24 to 30, the Terrazza Frau, a historic building in the heart of Spoleto, will host an exhibition of the winning works awarded the prestigious Modigliani Prize, a unique distinction in honor of one of the greatest Italian masters of the 20th century. 

Spoleto, an international tourist destination, formerly the setting for Rai Don Matteo's novels and home to the famous Festival dei Due Mondi, will be the ideal setting to give prestige and visibility to the winning entries, also thanks to the attention of the national press and television such as TGCOM24. The winning artists will be able to win prizes worth a total of €10,000 in exhibition services at the historic Milan Art Gallery, as well as the opportunity to be the protagonists of an exclusive television program on a national broadcaster. The important international competition of painting, poetry, photography and sculpture is organized by art curator Salvo Nugnes, former manager of big names such as Sgarbi, Alberoni, Ricciarelli, Margherita Hack and others, and has contributions from personalities from the world of culture and art such as Giuseppe La Bruna, former director of the historic Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, Roberto Villa, international photographer, friend of the great Pasolini and Dario Fo, Nicola Trombetta, former councilor of Matera, Capital of Culture 2019, Yari Carrisi Power, musician, son of Al Bano and Romina, Caterina Grifoni, president of FIDAPA Sp. Moreover, during the event, the great Modì will be discussed in the book "Modigliani: the last romantic" by Corrado Augias, journalist and presenter of Rai
