abstract painter bio
"Agnieszka Kopczyńska-Kardaś is a painter of abstract landscapes.
Her colorful, often geometric, and sometimes created by dynamic brushstrokes, realizations are a synthetic record of her own fascination with nature and the changes taking place in it. "

Artistic statement
what inspires me
Nature is what inspires me the most – both the wild and unharnessed one, and the one altered by the human presence.
In my abstract landscape paintings, where I encode my own reflections, impressions and longings using colors, textures and synthetic signs, I intend to discover a boundary between what is truly original and what is artificial. This is the reason why the process of observing the nature is so significant to me.
Therefore, I return to my favorite spots at different times of day and year to pick up on ongoing changes. This is my way of capturing an ephemeral moment.
